Nationality
Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualifications
- Management Trainee (Marketing): MBA in Agri Business Management/Agriculture related Management equivalent to MBA.
- Management Trainee (Accounts): CA/CMA.
- Junior Commercial Executive: B.Sc Agriculture from any recognized University with an aggregate of 50% marks1 (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
- Special Note for current CCI employees (Regular/Temporary) for Post Code 103: Any Graduate (10+2+3) is acceptable, with age relaxation for years of service in CCI, provided all other direct recruitment criteria are met.
- Junior Assistant (Cotton Testing Lab): Diploma in Electricals/Electronics/Instrumentation from any AICTE approved polytechnic college with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Age Relaxation
The minimum age for all posts is 18 years as of the advertisement date. The maximum age limit is 30 years. Age relaxations are applicable as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs): 10 years (15 years for SC/ST PwBDs, 13 years for OBC PwBDs)
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service from actual age.
- Persons ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir (01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989): 5 years
- Departmental Candidates : Age relaxation to the extent of years of service in CCI, provided they are currently working in one scale/post lower than the applied post with a minimum of one year’s experience..

Selection Process and Examination Pattern #
The selection process primarily involves a Computer Based Test (CBT).
Call Letters for Written Test
Eligible candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the CCI website. No hard copies will be sent by post. Shortlisted candidates for document verification will also be notified on the website and via email/SMS.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern #
The online examination for all posts will consist of 120 objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), to be attempted in 120 minutes. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 (1/4) marks for each incorrect answer.
The paper will have five sections:
- Unit-I: General English (15 Questions): Articles, Prepositions, Vocabulary, Reading and Comprehension, Synonyms, Jumbled Sentences, etc.

To be considered for document verification, candidates must secure the following minimum qualifying percentages in the Computer Based Test:

Salary and Service Conditions #
Successful candidates will be offered attractive salary packages and be subject to standard service conditions.
Scale of Pay
- Management Trainee (Marketing): Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000 (IDA)
- Management Trainee (Accounts): Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000 (IDA)
- Junior Commercial Executive: Rs. 22,000 – 90,000 (IDA)
- Junior Assistant (Cotton testing Lab): Rs. 22,000 – 90,000 (IDA)
Probation Period
Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of 12 months (1 year) of active service from their joining date. Confirmation in service is at the discretion of the Management and will be communicated in writing.
Service Bond
There is a mandatory provision for executing a Service Bond. Candidates must agree to serve a minimum period of 3 years in the Corporation after joining. Failure to do so will require them to pay 3 months’ basic pay (as on the date of separation) in lieu of service.
Posting and Job Profile
Selected candidates will be posted in different cotton growing areas across India. For Junior Commercial Executives, posting may include rural and remote areas. The Management also reserves the right to change the job profile and posting location at its discretion.
General Instructions and Important Considerations #
- Document Verification: Candidates must produce original documents along with photocopies for identity, eligibility, age, educational qualifications, caste, and experience at the time of document verification.
- No Change in Category: Category (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) once mentioned in the application form cannot be changed later.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates currently employed with Government/Semi-Government/PSUs must produce a NOC from their employer during document verification.
- Work Experience Certificate: Experience certificates must be on the company letterhead. For currently employed candidates, appointment letters and latest pay slips are required. Only experience where salary is paid through cheque/NEFT and statutory deductions like PF are evident will be counted. Proof of bank payment (bank passbook) needs to be shown.
- Date of Birth Proof: Birth Certificate issued by a Municipal Authority or School Leaving Certificate/Secondary School Leaving Certificate from the last attended school/recognized educational institution.
- Caste Certificates: SC/ST certificates must be issued by the empowered authority. OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificates and EWS certificates must be in the prescribed format and valid as per Government of India guidelines. Disability certificates for PwBD candidates must be issued by a duly constituted Medical Board.
- Medical Fitness: Appointment is subject to candidates being found medically fit.
- Name Change: Candidates who have changed their name must produce original gazette notification, marriage certificate, or affidavit.
- Misconduct/Unfair Means: The Corporation has strict policies against misconduct and the use of unfair means. Any such act will lead to disqualification, criminal prosecution, and debarment from future examinations/employment.
