Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria as of the closing date of the application (May 30, 2025):

1. Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. Educational Qualifications: The essential qualifications specified for each post must be completed within the stipulated duration of the course as prescribed by the University.
   • For M.Sc. based posts (Post Codes 20, 21, 22, 23): M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech) degree with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA grading of 6.84 on a 10-point scale. Additionally, the pre-eligibility qualification (B.Sc.) must have an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA grading of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.
   • For M.E./M.Tech based posts (Post Codes 24, 25, 26): M.E./M.Tech degree with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA/CPI grading of 6.5 on a 10-point scale. Additionally, the pre-eligibility qualification (B.E./B.Tech or B.Arch) must have an aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
   • Candidates with AMIE must have a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone. Note: Candidates who registered for AMIE after May 31, 2013, will not be considered.
   • Final Year Candidates: Candidates who are pursuing their final year and are scheduled to complete the essential qualification course in the academic year 2024-25 are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the percentage/CGPA criteria mentioned above and the final/provisional degree certificate is available by August 31, 2025.
3. CGPA and Percentage Conversion:
   • If a degree certificate or mark sheet mentions both CGPA and percentage, at least one of these must meet the minimum eligibility criteria.
   • If only CGPA is mentioned, that CGPA must meet the criteria. Conversion of CGPA to percentage is not permitted to determine eligibility, even if a conversion formula is provided by the university. The same rule applies mutatis mutandis if only percentage is mentioned.
   • Dual/Integrated Degrees:
     • If separate CGPA/percentage for Graduation and Post-Graduation are provided, both are considered independently for eligibility.
     • If only a common CGPA/percentage for the entire course is mentioned, that common final CGPA/percentage is considered.
     • If no CGPA/percentage is prescribed on the certificate, the cumulative CGPA/percentage as per the final/consolidated mark sheet for the entire course may be considered.
     • These rules apply regardless of whether the university provides a formula for conversion for UG/PG components in dual/integrated degrees.
4. Age Limit: The age limit is calculated as on the closing date of online application (May 30, 2025).
   • For Post Codes 20, 21, 22, 23: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 28 years.

Pay, Allowances, and Career Progression

• Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), with a pay range of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500.
• Gross Emoluments: As on the date of the advertisement, the approximate gross emoluments at the minimum of the pay level are ₹85,833/- per month (comprising Basic Pay + Dearness Allowance @ 55%).

  • All other candidates will receive a refund of ₹500/- (after deducting the ₹250/- Application Fee).
• Payment Method: Payment must be made online through the BHARATKOSH payment gateway after filling in the application details.
• Important: The last date for submission of the application form (May 30, 2025) is also the last date for payment of fees. There is no extended date for fee payment.
• No Other Mode: Payment through cash, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc., is not accepted.
• Refund Process: Refunds will strictly be made only to the bank account details provided by the candidate in their online application.
