Educational Qualifications
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following educational criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi or English, with English or Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject at the degree level.
- Master’s Degree in any subject, but must have studied Hindi and English as compulsory subjects during graduation, along with a recognized diploma or certificate course in translation (Hindi to English and vice versa) OR a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in translation.
- For Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) in CRPF: Same educational qualifications + Physical standards (Height: 165 cm Male/155 cm Female, Chest: 77-82 cm for Male only).

Stipend / Salary Structure
As per the 7th Pay Commission:
- Junior Hindi Translator / JTO / JHT: Pay Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
- Senior Hindi Translator / SHT: Pay Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
- Sub Inspector (CRPF): Includes allowances for field duty

Correction Window
